Most news media tend to connect readers or viewers only to large, remote corporations. News spreading person-to-person "by the grapevine" has almost disappeared in our isolated modern lives. That's a problem. At the WA Free Press, we wracked our brains for a few years trying to think of a way that a news medium can help restore a personal, neighborly aspect to society. We brainstormed this "Northwest Neighbors" list below. Listings are free to subscribers.
